Path to Produce
The Process
This mural was a true labor of love. I took time to develop a design that aligned with Progressive Produce’s mission and translated it into a large, hand-painted piece. The 13 × 8 ft mural was designed and executed entirely by me and is located in a high-traffic hallway near the breakroom.
Because of the scale and placement, I used a custom transfer process to accurately bring the design onto the wall. The mural also wraps around a doorway, which required careful planning to maintain visual continuity. The result is a cohesive, vibrant image that adds color and energy to the space, created to be enjoyed daily by the lovely people who work there.
The Art of What We Do
Our commerce facility recently got a fresh pop of color and a new symbol of the values that drive us at Progressive Produce. Our new mural, painted by artist Elonie Morales, captures the story of how fresh produce makes its way from the feild to the table. Through vibrant fields, detailed scenes, and an open sky, Elonie’s artwork reflects the connection between our team, the land, and the food we provide. “For this mural, I wanted to create more than just a visual. I wanted to tell a story,” she shared. “Each level of the painting captures a different stage in the produce process, from the first hand pick of an onion, to the careful packaging, transport, and final handoff to a customer”.
At the top of the mural, Elonie created an abundant display of fruits and vegetables inspired by our logo. She also incorporated a variety of people and scenes throughout the design to reflect the teamwork, effort, and care that go into every step of the journey. “It’s a celebration of the hard work behind the fresh produce we all enjoy,” she said.
The mural now stands as a colorful reminder of the pride we take in our work, the relationships that power our success, and the deep roots we have in the land. It’s a welcome addition to the Commerce facility and a fitting tribute to the spirit of Progressive Produce.
